V380 and V380 Pro camera types, buttons, ports, indicator lights and power supply explained.
The V380 range shares one app family, but the models differ in hardware and a few features. Find your model in the table below, then follow the sections of this manual that match it — the differences between models are called out wherever they matter.

Most current cameras use the V380 Pro app; only the classic model uses the older V380 app. All models connect to 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi (except the 4G model), and the setup flow is otherwise very similar.
Buttons and ports
The hardware below is for the mini / battery camera, which carries the most controls on its body; the standard, AI and 4G cameras share the same indicator lights and reset behaviour where applicable.
- HD Lens — the main camera lens.
- Night Vision Light — infrared light for low-light and night recording.
- TF Card Slot — holds a microSD (TF) card for local recording.
- Power Switch (ON/OFF Button) — turns the camera on and off.
- Indicator Light — shows the camera's current status (see below).
- USB Port — for charging and power supply.
- Reset Hole — restores factory settings.
ON/OFF button
- Turn on: press and hold the ON/OFF button for 5 seconds; the indicator light turns on and the camera is on.
- Turn off: with the power supply disconnected, press and hold the ON/OFF button for 5 seconds; the indicator light turns off and the camera is off.
The camera turns on automatically as soon as it is powered. It cannot be turned off while charging — disconnect the power supply first, then press the ON/OFF button to shut down.
Take Picture button
On cameras that have it, press the Take Picture button to snap a photo and save it to the memory card.
Reset Hole
Insert a reset pin (or a needle/toothpick) into the reset hole and hold for about 3–5 seconds until the red and blue indicators turn on together to restore the factory settings. Reset the camera if it stops responding, if you forget the password, or before reinstalling it in a new location.

Indicator lights
The indicator light shows the network and charging status. At startup the red and blue lights turn on together.

On some camera models the charging indicator is yellow instead of green, and it turns off when the battery is full. If the red/blue light is still on after the camera has been working for about a minute, reset the camera.
Power supply
- The camera can be powered by any USB source — a mobile power bank, a power adapter, or a car charger.
- It supports charging voltages of 5V/1A and 5V/2A.
Operating conditions
- Working temperature: 0–45 °C. For a longer service life, use the camera at room temperature, and never cover the shell or its heat-dissipation holes.
- Working humidity: 20%–80%. Do not place the camera in a damp environment — it is not waterproof.
- This is a precision electronic product. Avoid strong shocks or vibration, and keep it away from strong magnetic or electric fields and flammable or explosive materials.
