Installation

Once the camera is connected you can mount it in its final position. The mini / battery camera ships with a back clip that can be fixed with adhesive or screws.

Mount with 3M adhesive

1. Tear off the red 3M adhesive behind the back clip and press the clip firmly onto the installation position.
2. Stick the camera on the wall as shown in the bracket, or anywhere you want to install it.

Mount with screws

3M adhesive is usually firm enough and does not need extra screws. If you prefer screws:

1. Mark the wall with a pencil using the hole spacing of the back clip, then drill the holes.
2. Screw the expansion nut into each hole, then use the screws to fix the back clip to the nuts.

Adjust the viewing angle

There are three ways to adjust the lens angle. Use whichever suits the camera's installation position:

1. Rotate the lens using the arrow on each side. Twist the left and right sides no more than 90°; fine-tune the rest of the angle in the app.
2. Flip the image in the app — switch between the inverted image and the upright image, depending on how the camera is mounted (decide this based on your actual scene).
3. Drag on the app screen with your finger to correct the angle of view.

Placement tips

• Install the camera as close to the router as possible, and avoid placing a wall between them. The better the network, the smoother the monitoring picture.
• In an open area the Wi-Fi connection can reach about 150 metres. Thick walls, electromagnetic equipment and large metal objects all interfere with the signal — if the connection is weak or unstable, move the camera closer to the router.
